  4.   This selection allows you to try and page me to come to the computer.
  5.   If you make the [O] selection and it is not between the hours of
  6.   5:30pm to 10:00pm, most likely you will receive a message indicating
  7.   I am not available and to either leave a message or comment.
  8.  
  9.   If I am home and have set my machine to inform me when someone tries
  10.   the page option, I am sent a series of "Beeps" for 30 seconds -
  11.   indicated on your screen by dots - informing me that you wish to
  12.   converse.  If I respond, you will see a message appear indicating
  13.   my presence.  At that time you may begin typing your message and
  14.   we can "talk".

  16.   This same form of conversation is available if I request it - even
  17.   though you have not paged me.  For instance, because my screen echos
  18.   everything a caller is doing, I can sometimes spot a user who is
  19.   having difficulty with a certain function of the board.  Rather than
  20.   let him create a problem on either the board or his machine, I may
  21.   interrupt his call by using the chat mode and provide assistance.
